ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಹಾರ ನಿಗಮ, ವಿಭಾಗೀಯ ಕಚೇರಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಭಿಯಾನ 6 ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನ
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ: ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಭಿಯಾನ 6 ರ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಹಾರ ನಿಗಮದ (Food Corporation of India – FCI) ವಿಭಾಗೀಯ ಕಚೇರಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ 2026ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 2ರಿಂದ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 31ರವರೆಗೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನದಡಿ ವಿಭಾಗೀಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಪತ್ ಭಕ್ತವತ್ಸಲಂ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ, ಹಾಸನ ಮತ್ತು ಉಡುಪಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಹಾರ ನಿಗಮದ ಆರು ಆಹಾರ ಧಾನ್ಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಗೋದಾಮುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಭೌಗೋಳಿಕವಾಗಿ ದೂರದ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಂಡ್ರೋತ್ ದ್ವೀಪದ ಗೋದಾಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಾರಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಕಚೇರಿ ಆವರಣಗಳು, ಗೋದಾಮುಗಳ ಒಳಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಭಾಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅನಗತ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಿ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು, ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಡತಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸುವುದು, ಕೆಲಸದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ವಿಭಾಗೀಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಪತ್ ಭಕ್ತವತ್ಸಲಂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ* ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಕೆಲಸದ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತಗೊಳಿಸದೆ, ದೈನಂದಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಹಾರ ನಿಗಮವು ದೇಶದ ಆಹಾರ ಭದ್ರತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಆಹಾರ ಧಾನ್ಯಗಳ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ, ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಗೋದಾಮುಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮಹತ್ವ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಭಿಯಾನ 6 ರಡಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ, ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತಮ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿವೆ.
Cleanliness Drive by the Food Corporation of India, Divisional Office, Shivamogga, under ‘Special Campaign 6’
Shivamogga: As part of the Government of India’s ‘Special Campaign 6’, the Food Corporation of India (FCI), Divisional Office, Shivamogga, has organized a cleanliness drive running from October 2 to October 31, 2026.
Under this campaign, led by Divisional Manager Shri Sampath Bhaktavatsalam, cleanliness activities were carried out at six food grain storage centers and warehouses belonging to the FCI across the regions of Shivamogga, Bhadravathi, Hassan, and Udupi. The message of cleanliness was also propagated by conducting similar activities at the warehouse located on the remote Androth Island.
As part of the initiative, cleaning operations were undertaken within office premises, both inside and outside the warehouses, and in the surrounding areas. Priority was given to segregating and disposing of unnecessary items and waste, systematically organizing records and files, maintaining clean workspaces, and raising awareness about cleanliness among the staff. Divisional Manager Shri Sampath Bhaktavatsalam, along with other officers and staff, actively participated in cleanliness drives, striving to create a clean and sustainable work environment. Various activities were undertaken with the objective of integrating cleanliness into daily operations, rather than limiting it merely to the duration of a specific campaign.
The Food Corporation of India (FCI) plays a pivotal role in the nation’s food security, placing special emphasis on the scientific storage of food grains, the preservation of quality, and the maintenance of clean warehouses. In this context, the cleanliness initiatives undertaken as part of ‘Special Campaign 6’ represent a significant step toward strengthening a culture of cleanliness, discipline, and operational excellence.
